Worship Death

6000 Bow to a Cut Out Heart

An estimated 6,000 pilgrims braved heavy rain to venerate the relic of St. John Vianney’s heart when it arrived in England in July 2012.

Praying to a Heart

Archbishop Mark Davies of Shrewsbury pray in front of a piece of flesh, after bowing before the idol.

“This relic represents a call to the heart, a call to return to what must lie at the heart of the life our parishes declining or apparently flourishing in city, town and countryside,” Bishop Mark Davies of Shrewsbury told pilgrims at Liverpool’s Cathedral of Christ the King on July 6.

It is almost impossible to understand, why Roman Catholics want to bow and pray in front of a dead piece of rotten meat.

Why cut a heart out of a corpse, put in in a box, and carry it around the World?

Cut out heart

Kissing the HeartKissing the Heart

The archbishop bow before, and kiss the box that contains the heart of the “saint”.

The Christians own New Testament bible says this ---

 Matthew 6:6

But when you pray, go into your room, close the door and pray to your Father, who is unseen. Then your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you.

Has the Archbishop of Shrewsbury read this passage?

Would the Christian Jesus be doing this???  It would be hard to imagine for Jesus, the Christian's savior bowing before pieces of carnage, when praying to the Christian second God, God the Father in Heaven.

The second commandment is crystal clear: Worship the Creator God, an absolutely nothing else. There are curses waiting for those who disobey this commandment.

  Exodus 20:4-6

“You shall not make for yourself an idol in the form of anything in heaven above or on the earth beneath or in the waters below.

You shall not bow down to them or worship them; for I, the Lord your God, am a jealous God, punishing the children for the sin of the fathers to the third and fourth generation of those who hate me,

but showing love to a thousand generations of those who love me and keep my commandments.

Google about the saints who got their hearts cut out, and are supposed to bring blessings to Roman Catholic priesthood and all members of the Order of Knights of Columbus.

Archbishop

As a part of this worship session, the archbishop makes the Catholic sign of the cross in front of the relic.

church

The Vatican priesthood carries the deceased heart, to be placed at the altar of this Roman Catholic Church.

Why do the Roman Catholic Bishops do what God hates, and then demand that all who follow this church to copy their actions of idol worship?

Let’s take a look at more pictures from several masses in Roman Catholic Churches across the United Kingdom during this period where they worshiped the relic:

The Archbishop of Shrewsbury conduct a mass with the heart in the center of the rituals.

Kiss the Heart

Instructed by the archbishop, all the local priests have to bow and kiss the box with the heart.

cursed children

The Roman Catholics curse their own children.

praying to heart

Whole families are called into the cruel bondage of worship of idols, bringing down curses on themselves.

Their own Christian bible says ---

 Romans 1:24-26
Therefore God gave them over in the sinful desires of their hearts to sexual impurity for the degrading of their bodies with one another. They exchanged the truth of God for a lie, and worshiped and served created things rather than the Creator—who is forever praised. Amen.

The Christian book of Revelation says this worship will continue...

 Revelation 9:20

The rest of mankind that were not killed by these plagues still did not repent of the work of their hands; they did not stop worshiping demons, and idols of gold, silver, bronze, stone and wood—idols that cannot see or hear or walk.

Chapel with 24.000 Skulls and Skeletons

Hundreds of skulls have been put up around this alter with a crucifix. This place is a Vatican approved chapel.

Chapel

This Roman Catholic chapel is full of bones and skulls.

This picture was taken during the Pontiffs visit to the Church which has kept the bones of St. Augustine for“veneration”.

Pope praying to the dead

The Pope prays in front of a box full of a dead man’s bones.

But in the Skull Chapel in Czermana in Poland, the Pontiff gets a chance to adore 3.000 “Holy skulls” inside this Church property.

Hundreds of them has been put up for display around the altar, where a Roman Catholic Crucifix also has been put up for veneration.

The Papist priests in this city were surely solid bone collectors. Since the visual walls of the chapel could not contain all the skulls and bones they had collected, remains of another 21.000 people have been hidden in the cellar of the chapel. That is the almost mind blowing number of 24.000 headless people stored up in one “holy place”.

inside chapel

This Catholic chapel in Poland holds a cruel and evil secret of thousands of skulls and bones.

Who are all these people, hanging around this crucifix?

The Catholic Church claim they died of cholera, epidemics and hunger.

The diseased bodies are remains from the Thirty Years war from 1618 to 1648. But the chapel was built in 1776 by the local parish priest Wacław Tomaszek. The official explanation behind this chapel, is more than bizarre: A Roman Catholic priest that used most of his life to collect bones from mass graves.

For a dozen years, the priest collected them, disinfected and stored. In 1804, the skull of the priest was also placed in the altar.

If you think this is a joke, please read from the website of the Government of Poland.

For people who have read European history, it might be striking that the graveyards that were opened in Poland, held the remains of people who died during the wars of the Reformation. In hundreds of thousands Christians who refused to call the Pope“Holy Father” were slaughtered by Papal sent butchers.

cellar with skulls

Skulls of 21.000 Christian protestant martyrs slaughtered by Rome might be hidden in this cellar.

This is a more likely explanation behind this extraordinary collection of skull and bones:

They lost their life when Papal butchers chopped their head off.

Why else, would anyone collect so many skulls and skeleton, put them up for display next to the Roman Catholic copy of the Messiah painting?

Unfortunately, for a billion Catholics or more, they have shared in the sins of this lawless Church.

Pope calls Catholics to Venerate 1600 year old Skull

The dressed skeleton of claimed saint Ambrose is in Milan. The Pope asked Catholics to hail him on his feast day.

skull

The CNA reported that the “Catholic Church will celebrate the memory of St. Ambrose, the brilliant Bishop of Milan who influenced St. Augustine’s conversion and was named a “Doctor of the Church”.

skull

Skeletons were brought out of the grave, and put for display and veneration in a Catholic Church.

The Catholic faithful are called by the pope to venerate a skull, dressed up in fine linen and gold. The corpse of this 1600 hundred old person, is found in a crypt in a Catholic Church in Milan. This man called Ambrose, is lying next to two other skeletons. That is the remains of “Saint Gervasius and Saint Protasius”.

Here is a comment from a Catholic blogger, who proudly admit he was “praying before this remains”. Idal worship?

” This past June while in Milan it was a great honor to pray before the remains of this holy saint with a fellow North American, the great Shawn Tribe, Catholic journalist of NLM fame” ( http://www.newliturgicalmovement.org/).

This is a copy of another blog message:

“A ghoulish treat: the bones of the revered and ancient saint and patron of Milan lie under the high altar with two others, Saints Gervasius and Protasius. Their relics were purportedly discovered by Ambrose when he was looking to dedicate the basilica in AD 386: for a church to be consecrated, you needed relics. Obligingly, these two saints appeared to Ambrose in a vision and pointed the way to their tomb”.

The official version of the Vatican, is that Ambrose was “forced by a mob”, to become their Bishop.  This is from the official Catholic News Agency, CNA:

“With the help of Emperor Valentinan, who ruled the Western Roman Empire at the time, a mob of Milanese Catholics virtually forced Ambrose to become their bishop against his own will”

“Eight days after his baptism, Ambrose received episcopal consecration on Dec. 7, 374 A.D. The date would eventually become his liturgical feast”.

I can easily envision a Catholic mob chasing a poor man into the Bishops palace. It must have been painful for him, to place himself in the position of totalitarian authority.

The skeleton of Ambrose is most likely the remains of a Southern Baptist preacher, who was chased by the Catholic mob, to be presented in the Bishop's palace in Milan, not to sit in the athoritarian chair, but was executed.

Catholics in Poland Parade a “Holy Finger”

“It’s a finger from his right hand from which he often gave a blessing to St. Faustina.”

holy finger

Roman Catholics in Poland is ready to take a “holy finger” out for a stroll.

The Most Rev. Edward Ozorowski, Archbishop of Bialystok, Poland, brought a relic of Blessed Michael Sopocko, who was St. Faustina’s confessor and spiritual director.

The principal celebrant at the Solemn Liturgy on Divine Mercy Sunday came bearing a special gift for the Marians of the Immaculate Conception of the Blessed Virgin Mary.

“It’s a finger from his right hand from which he often gave a blessing to St. Faustina,” explained Br. Andrew R. Maczynski, MIC, general promoter of the Association of Marian Helpers.

The relic, which came encased in a golden monstrance, is about 5 centimeters long. It will be placed in the National Shrine, which is administered by the Marians.

Bishop Ozorowski, in whose archdiocese Blessed Michael Sopocko was beatified Sept. 28, 2008, presented the gift during Holy Mass on Sunday.

“We express our sincere gratitude to His Excellency for making it possible that a relic of St. Faustina’s spiritual director will find its place here in the National Shrine of The Divine Mercy,” said Br. Chris Alar, MIC, during the presentation.

The relic will join another relic in the Shrine — the “basal phalanx” of a great toe of St. Faustina, to be exact. A larger piece of her relic remains in a reliquary within the Shrine.

The Christian New Testament Bible says;

 Matthew 23:27
“Woe to you, teachers of the law and Pharisees, you hypocrites! You are like whitewashed tombs, which look beautiful on the outside but on the inside are full of the bones of the dead and everything unclean."

You have to be completely disconnected to dress up in a parade uniform, and carry around a finger bone on your shoulder.

It is not so strange that Catholics want to adore more than just a cut off finger.  Inside the Shrine the finger bone will be entertained also by a piece of a “holy toe.”

Catholics Pray in Front of the Heart of “St. Camillus”

Roman Catholics venerate the heart of a claimed to be saint who died in 1614 A.D.

touching heart

A sick Catholic lady believe in the healing power of a 400 year old heart.

This heart of “St. Camillus” is kept for adoration and veneration in the Church of St. Mary Magdalene in Rome.

The headquarters of the Camillian Fathers is at Riverstown House, in Killucan in Ireland. From here the Camillian Province in Ireland grew in 1935. The heart of Camillus has also been transported to Poland and Peru for veneration, before it ended up in the Church in Rome.  In July the heart was transported to Ireland to be included in Church services.

This is what could be read from a Catholic bulletin this July:

“At 7pm on July 14, Mass will be celebrated by Most Rev. Dr. Michael Smith, Bishop of Meath, and from 10pm later that night to 4am the next morning, a Night Vigil of Gratitude will be observed in the presence of the Heart at the St. Camillus Nursing Centre Chapel”

“A night vigil in presence of a heart?”

Touching the heart, praying before it, and claiming it has healing powers?

How did this heart leave this claimed to be saint in the first place?

Was the heart removed shortly after he died, or while he was still alive?

It looks like “Camillus heart” in a good Vatican example of grave looting, where the Roman Catholic priests have robbed a body part of a dead person.

Catholics Adore Skeleton and “Feast of Saint's Tongue”

These Catholic priests carries a “fresh tongue” on their shoulder, claimed to have been a part of a 750 year old skeleton.

Roman Catholic priest carries the “Holy tongue” from Northern Italy.

The “feast of the tongue” was last celebrated in May 2010 in Colombo on Sri Lanka. For this purpose the tongue of “St. Anthony” had been transported from Italy to the Island nation in the Indian Ocean.

St. Antony is also called “Anthony of Lisbon “, and his remains have been taken up from the grave. They are kept for adoration in the Relics Chapel of Padua’s Basilica  in Northern Italy.

The UK Newspaper Daily Mail wrote an article about this Vatican claimed to be saint on February 15th 2010.

skeleton

Roman Catholic monks adore a 750 year old skeleton inside the Relics Chapel of Padua’s Basilica in Italy.

There you can read the following on a large card:

The display, which will last until Saturday will be in chapel of his tomb in Padua and marks the feast of the transfer of St Anthony, also known as the ‘feast of the tongue’.

When his coffin was moved 30 years after his burial it was opened and it is claimed most of his body was found to have returned to dust. However his tongue remained fresh, which was seen as a sign of his gift of preaching, and was kept in a separate relic box.

A closer look at the claimed to be holy tongue, tells a different story. It looks like a black stone. It must be pretty hard, and I do not think anyone would like to take a bite. Not even touch it. I guess that Is why it has been kept in a glass mounter, and put inside an idol made of gold.

tongue

This item hardly looks like a tongue. Maybe it is a stone?

I wonder how the Catholics can be sure that the skeleton really is of the man they claim is Anthony of Lisbon?

I will not be surprised it the whole story is made up.

The Muslims are told to kiss this stone, which is suppose to take away their sins.

The frame and item inside could be a copy of the stone worship in Mecca.

A close look at the black stone in Mecca, will disply a group of small black stones.

In regards to this “holy tongue” and the “holy black stone”, the Pope and Islam seems to walking in perfect union. They will both end up in the One World One Religion, that is built on a theology of all faiths leading.

kissing the stone

Will kissing this stone in Mecca wash away the sins of Khaled Mashaal?

in this picture you see the leader of Hamas bowing down,  ready to kiss the black stone in Mecca. What makes him any day different from Roman Catholic priests that bows down to kiss the black tongue sent from a “Church” in Northern Italy?

Exodus 20: 4-6:

“You shall not make for yourself an idol in the form of anything in heaven above or on the earth beneath or in the waters below. You shall not bow down to them or worship them; for I, the LORD your God, am a jealous God, punishing the children for the sin of the fathers to the third and fourth generation of those who hate me, but showing love to a thousand {generations} of those who love me and keep my commandments."

Roman Catholics Offering Incense to a Wax Copy of a Corpse

This man died 403 years ago. A wax copy of the corpse is honored in ‪Santa Maria in Campitelli in Rome.

Saint Giovanni Leonardi (1541 – October 9, 1609) was founder of the Clerks Regular of the Mother of God of Lucca.

The final Rule of his community was published in 1851. Two houses of the Clerks of the Mother of God were opened when he died, three others were opened during the seventeenth century.

Roman Catholics who loose their keys can pray to “Saint Zita”

If you have lost your keys, pray to Saint Zita. She wil help you find them.  Her remains are kept in Lucca in Italy.

St Zita

The corpse of Zita is kept for adoration and worship. Catholics who pray to her, have better chances of fiinding their keys.

The body of Saint Zita, claims to be found incorrupt by the Catholic Church. (born c. 1218 – d. 27 April 1272).

Se is the Patron saint of all who have lost the keys.

This is her story from Wikipedia

By her death, she was practically venerated by the family. After one hundred and fifty miracles wrought in the behalf of such as had recourse to her intercession were juridically proven, she was canonized in 1696.

Her body was exhumed in 1580, discovered to be incorrupt, but has since become mummified. St. Zita’s body is currently on display for public veneration in the Basilica di San Frediano in Lucca.

The official Roman Catholic website has this report:

The Church’s liturgical veneration of St. Zita was introduced in the early 1500s, and confirmed by Pope Innocent XII in 1696. In 1580, her body was exhumed and found to be miraculously incorrupt. It is venerated today in the Basilica of St. Frediano, where she attended Mass during her life.

IHow terrible is it to not find your car or house keys?

Roman Catholics are extra lucky. They just have to pray to” Saint Zita” and she will help them.

The Roman Catholics claim that they do not worship saints. They just adore or venerate them.

But when you pray to a saint to find your keys, do you worship this saint?

There must be a valid reason for keeping someone who have been dead for 738 years for display inside a Church.

To place a palm leaf in her bony hands, is a bizarre thing to do.  Putting keys in the bony hands would be more appropriate.

France, Italy, Vatican, Damascus, Istanbul, Munich, Greece, all have John the Baptist

The Catholic Church of Amiens in France have kept John the Baptists skull on a plate.

John's head

Jesus explains there have never been a greater man than John the Baptist walking the Earth. Still a Catholic Church in France, feels the need to keep a skull on a plate, and claims it is the very head of the baptist.

Surely this picture is insane enough. But just as the Catholic World is grasping for fresh air, there is an Italian claim, that the skull of the baptist is only to be found in Church of S.Sivestro in Rome. Not to be outdone by this,  the backside of the skull of John the Baptist has been kept in the city of the Vatican. And this piece of the head can be adored and venerated at a glass mounter.

Lets start with the photos from the Church in France.

Amiens Cathedral

The Amiens Cathedral in France.

The head taken out for adoration and veneration.

This is the official Catholic story:

But most of the time kept safely behind bars.

copying Herodius

I do not think this Frenceman knows how this copying of Herodias looks.

The best site with photos of this skull, is made by an Orthodox “Christian”. Take alook.

Since both Rome and a city in France is involved here, we have a problem with a dual claim to the same head. It is worth noting that both these two Catholic Churches admit that they do support the story of Catholic priests who have fought over a skull, and broken it into at least two pieces.

The skull, or the head of John the Baptist, is nevertheless
not so “impressive” inside the Church in the city of Rome. Lets take a look:

half skull

The half skull, the backside, of claimed to be John the Baptist. St. Sylvester Church in Rome.

St Sylvester church

St. Sylvester Church in Rome

Who, if not Papal priests, have divided the skull of John the Baptist into two pieces?

And the skull might have been cut in three, with one piece left in Turkey. Please keep on reading.

This is surely one of the most bizarre example of Church adoration and veneration of any item. Two half skulls, separated by two national borders, by two Churches that both have the Pope as their head.

But this story does not end here. To make the legacy of John the Baptist more complicated, the Grand Mosque of Damascus Syria also claim to have the head of John the Baptist. This head is kept in a small chapel inside the Islamic dome. What?

Damascus mosque

at mosque

John the Baptist in the Mosque in Damascus, at least with the back turned towards us. Because I guess he has been kept reading verses from the Koran on the wall.

This amazing picture from a Mosque, can be viewed at this site.

The official Syrian version:

Sheltered inside the mosque is the small chapel and shrine of John the Baptist (Prophet Yahia to the Muslims) where tradition holds that the head of John is buried. One legend says that when the church was demolished, his head was found underneath, complete with skin and hair. This head is believed by some to possess magical powers and continues to be the focus of the Mandaeans’ annual pilgrimage, when they press their foreheads against the metal grill of the shrine and reportedly experience prophetic visions.

chapel in mosque

Interesting photo from Damascus. Did you know there are chapel’s inside Mosques.

Catholics should flock to the Mosque in Damascus, and try to get a pieces of the “holy” head. There might even be some prophetic vision left.

And there is also a forth claim to the head, of the Jew who baptized the savior of the World.  This head is kept in a Museum in the German city of Munich. In the Residenze, a castle belonging to the past Catholic Kings of Bavaria.

head in Munich

The most funny head you have ever seen. Or have the royals packed the skull, to avoid children getting nightmares after visiting this castle in Munich?

Bavaria castle

Just like king Herod, Catholic Kings of Bavaria lived in this castle. They both claimed to hold the head of John the Baptist.

If is of course difficult to understand, what is so special about people who keep the head of John the Baptist on a platter.

It was only the completely wicked and evil wife of King Herod who took pleasure in such a gruesome sight. And probably also King Herod and his staff and followers.

Why do our modern day Church goers want to share her joy, and probably also Herodias final destination?

It is bad enough to see four different institutions trying to convince the World, they they have the genuine skull.  The story will eventually fall into the deepest pit of perversion, if a handful of Catholic and Orthodox Churches claim they have collected parts of his headless body.

These claim presented by religious people, should leave the World’s best pathologists speechless.

The Ottoman Empire did not only manage to slaughter and kill 1,5 million Armenians in the bloodiest genocide prior to the Holocaust. In Topkapi Palace Museum in Istanbul, modern day Turkey claim they have both John the Baptist's right arm, and a part of his skill. In fact, the top of his skull.

Golden container

Can anyone really buy the story of whose remains are inside this golden container?

skull relic

There are claimed to be remins of the baptists, held by a Museum in Istanbul.

I am sure many Muslims will be puzzled by the fact, that Islam collects such items for adoration. The same Museum also claims to be the correct holder of some of Muhammad’s beard. The Islamic relics do not look very different from the Catholics relics.

The problem with the Turkish claim of holding the right arm of John the Baptists, is that an Greek Orthodox Church claims to have the very same hand in its collection of relics.

right hand

The right hand of John the Baptist can simply not be in two different places at the same time. This is the Greek version of what looks like an idol hand of gold.

Cloister

And, the Hellenists claims the remains of John are in this cloister in Greek.

And a Orthodox Church in Bulgaria recently claims they found one tooth of the Baptist.

tooth of John

Does this Bulgarian box hold a 2.000 year old tooth, and is it one of the teeth of John the Baptist.

The story of the corrupt Catholic word on relics could continue for years. But there is surely a limit of how much gulibility people can accept.

The Four Skulls of One John Chrysostom

Claimed skulls of  St. John Chrysostom is located in the Cathedral in Florence, in a Roman Catholic shrine in Pisa, in Moscow and on Mount Athos in Greece.

Russian skull

The Russian version of the skull of the “saint” arrived in New York for veneration 6th of February 2010.

John Chrysostom (347–407.AD) was Archbishop of Constantinople, and considered an important Early Church Father.

He is recognized by the Eastern Orthodox Church and the Catholic Church as a saint and as a Doctor of the Church.

It is worth noticing that the Roman Catholic Church has admitted that they stole the remains of the Byzantine priest, and took it to Rome. The present Pope returned the stolen bones, explained by wikipedia.

Most of John’s relics were looted from Constantinople by Crusaders in 1204 and taken to Rome, but some of his bones were returned to the Orthodox on 27 November 2004 by Pope John Paul II.

The battle for the corpse, skull and bones of this archbishop is more grotesque than this example of priests becoming robbers. There are four Churches who claim to have the skull of the same “saint”. One in Russia, one in Greece and not less than two Roman Catholic Churches in Italy.

Wikipedia:

The skull was kept at the Moscow Kremlin, in the Cathedral of the Dormition of the Mother of God, until 1920, when it was confiscated by the Soviets and placed in the Museum of Silver Antiquities.

In 1988, in connection with the 1000th Anniversary of the Baptism of Russia, the Head, together with other important relics, was returned to the Russian Orthodox Church and kept at the Epiphany Cathedral, until being moved to the Cathedral of Christ the Saviour after its restoration.

However, today, the Vatopedi Monastery posits a rival claim to possession of the skull of St. John Chrysostom, and there a skull is venerated by pilgrims to the monastery as that of St John.

Two places in Italy also claim to have the skull of St. John Chrysostom: the Basilica di Santa Maria del Fiore in Florence and the Dal Pozzo chapel in Pisa.

Lets take a look at the other three claimed version of the skull of this man who died more than 1.600 years ago:

The box with the Russian skull has a top opening. It looks like the surface of the planet Mars.

A major Roman Catholic news agency has reported “miracles’ from one of these skulls. Remarkably not with the two versions found in Roman Catholic shrines.

Two miraculous cures have been reported in Cyprus as a result of contact with the skull of St. John Chrysostom, according to the Associated Press. Father Paraskevas Agathonos claimed the visiting relic, which normally resides in a monastery in northern Greece, had healed a partially paralyzed teenager and a woman with a broken leg.

The Russians are thrilled that their “holy head” paid New York City a visit in February 2010:

The sacred head will not be touring America, but will remain at Synod until the final day of its stay, when it will be taken to St. Nicholas Cathedral, the Russian Patriarchal Cathedral a few blocks away.

Pope Prayed to the Cut Out Heart of Padre Pio

In June 2009, the Pope prayed before the heart of Padre Pio. Grave looters removed the corpse, and cut out his heart.

Pope prays

The Pope folds his hands, and venerate and adore the heart of a deceased man, and call it “Holy”.

21st of June 2009, The present Pope paid a visit the shrine San Giovanni Rotondo in Italy.

A picture was taken of the Pontiff, and a blogger has written this message:

“Pope Benedict XVI looks at the Heart of the mystic saint Padre Pio in the crypt”.

Another site has the covered the event, when the deceased body of Padre Pio was exhumed on March 17th 2008:

That’s a photo of Archbishop Domenico D’Ambrosio (left) and some friars opening Padre Pio’s coffin, earlier this month.

April 24 is the day that the remains are to go on display at what was once his home, the friary known as San Giovanni Rotondo, but I will not be surprised if it happens even earlier in the month.

The Vatican had announced in January that the body would be exhumed in April, and after some protests from Padre Pio’s biological family, those plans were stepped up to early March.

They may do likewise in putting the body on display, perhaps a couple of weeks earlier than was first announced.

Pope Devoted to Bones and 1600 years Old Woman

“The Pope was very devoted to Santa Monica (St. Augustine’s mother) and often visited the tomb of Santa Monica to pray,”

Pope and St Augustine

Pope Emritus used to say mass on the altar behind these bones of “Saint” Augustine.

On 28th of August Pope Francis said Mass at the “chapter” of the Order of Saint Augustine, a meeting of the group’s leaders which will elect a new head as well as set out their aims for the next six years.

The Pope will head the Eucharistic celebration at the Basilica of Saint Augustine in Campo Marzio to launch the chapter, which takes place every six years, lasts for about two to three weeks and will start this Wednesday, the feast of St. Augustine.

St Augustine Box

Inside this box, there are remains and bones of a moral human. Who it might be? only God knows.

From the christian New Testament --  Matthew 23:27

‘Woe to you, teachers of the law and Pharisees, you hypocrites! You are like whitewashed tombs, which look beautiful on the outside but on the inside are full of the bones of the dead and everything unclean.

“The Pope was very devoted to Santa Monica (St. Augustine’s mother) and often visited the tomb of Santa Monica to pray,” Cardinal Prospero Grech, an Augustinian friar, said in an Aug. 26 statement.
Around one hundred Augustinians from all over the world will gather in Rome to elect their new prior General marking their one hundred and eighty fourth chapter.

The head of the order is expected to be chosen between seven to 10 days after the launch of the chapter, during the first week of September. Until he is chosen, the vicar General Father Michael Di Gregorio, who is second in charge, will preside over the meetings.

What? A Pope is “devoted” to a mortal woman who died 1600 years ago.  Also a Pope who pray, bowing before a box with bones of claimed to be “Saint Augustine”.

What is also astonishing, is that Saint Augustine's mother of North African origin, was canonized and given the status as “saint”, not less than 1595 years after her death.

Monica died in 387 A.D, and was canonized in 1982 by Pope John Paul II.

Surely, it is sometimes difficult to be sure who is a saint and not.  Pope Siricius beatified her sometime between 384-399 AD.

Surely some kind of administrative hurdles caused the delay in the required examination of bones. The Catholic bishops simply lost trace of her grave.  The bones did not surface in a box before 1000 years later.  In 1430 A.D, the Pope ordered her bones to be transported to Rome.

This praying Pope is the head of the skull and bone society, devoted to the spirit of death. .

From the Christian New Testament  --  Luke 9:60

Jesus said to him, ‘Let the dead bury their own dead, but you go and proclaim the kingdom of God.’

I am not sure about how the DNA of the bones was taken. I will be surprised if anyone had a DNA sample of this “Monica”.

A totally new story must have been written down, and presented to the Catholic as the truth.

The Skull that Lifted and Turned its Head to a Nun

“It was then that she saw the head of St. Savvas lift and turn to her, then it returned again in its place”.

head turns

The skeleton was dressed up in Latin garments, but desired Orthodox dressing.

I have written enough about skull and bones, but found this one so interesting that I wanted to share it with you all.

The testimony of Roman Catholic priest “Fr. Seraphim” has been recorded by a website.

Here is the short version of the story:

Fr Seraphim tells of a certain miracle at this time in Jerusalem. An Orthodox nun who was waiting to venerate the holy relics had doubts over whether or not the Latin’s head was indeed given the authentic relics to the Orthodox. It was then that she saw the head of St. Savvas lift and turn to her, then it returned again in its place. Her joy removed all doubts.

The story about St Savvas display that there was disagreements between Rome and the Orthodox Church, in regards to who owned the “holy bones”

“The Pope did not give us the holy relic because he loved us, but because he [St. Savvas] would constantly appear to him [Pope John XXIII] and would bother him to have his relics returned to his monastery. When the Pope died he did not take the wishes of the Saint into account, so he appeared again to his successor pope [Pope Paul VI]. Even in the church where his holy relics were treasured in a glass coffin, he would hit the glass and cause trouble, frightening the guards and the Latin monks.”

Maybe there is more to this story. Maybe its about the skeleton being discomforted with the tight fitting garments put on it.,

A problem arose when it came time to dress the holy relics in Orthodox vestments, since the Latins had dressed him in Latin vestments. After nine centuries it would be impossible to manoeuvre the body so as to put on the rason, the monastic schema and epitrachelion among other things. To further complicate matters, the hands of St. Savvas were crossed over his chest. Metropolitan Kyriakos of Nazareth describes what then happened as follows: “We then saw Abbot Seraphim kneel before the holy relics and pray for a good amount of time. At one point he arose and did prostrations and lifted the arms of Saint Savvas as one would a living man before the amazed eyes of us all.” They were able to change the vestments without a problem in Venice before the return to Jerusalem.

Catholic Nuns Fought for Half of Saint's Skull

The skull of Saint Brébeuf can be adored in Martyr’s Shrine near Midland, Ontario, in Canada. But only half of it.

half skull

Roman Catholics can adore half of a skull in Canada. The other half was given to nuns, and disappeared.

If this had only been one of the thousands of skulls venerated and adored in Roman Catholic Churches, I would not have written this article. I have already written more than enough about worship of bones inside this death cult.  But the story behind this skull makes it worthy of some extra publicity.

This is what have been recorded by Wikipedia:

Brébeuf did not make a single outcry while he was being tortured and he astounded the Iroquois, who later cut out his heart and ate it in hopes of gaining his courage Brébeuf was fifty-five years old.

Brébeuf’s body was recovered a few days later. His body was boiled in lyeto remove the flesh, and the bones became church relics. His flesh was buried, along with Lalemant’s, in one coffin, and today rests in the Church of St. Joseph at the reconstructed Jesuit mission of Sainte-Marie among the Hurons across Highway 12 from the Martyrs’ Shrine Catholic Church near Midland, Ontario

In September, 1984, Pope John Paul II prayed over Brebeuf’s skull before saying an outdoor Mass on the grounds of the Martyrs’ Shrine. Thousands of people came to hear him speak from a platform built especially for the day.

Source: Wikipedia

According to Catholic Encyclopedia, this Jesuit missionary died a horrible death on March 16th 1649 A.D. 90 days later the body was ex-hummed. The Catholic Encyclopedia do not record the beginning of the process of beautification of the body.

This is what Suite101 has recorded:

On June 16, 1649, the remaining missionaries set fire to the mission, rather than see it desecrated or overrun by the Iroquois. At the same time, they had also decided that Brebeuf and Lallemant would be canonized as saints. Accordingly, their bodies were exhumed and boiled in a lye solution.Their flesh was reburied and their bones wrapped in linen and saved as relics.

Read more at Suite101:

An ecclesiastical court sat in 1904 for an entire year to examine his life and virtues and the cause of his death, and the result of the inquiry was forwarded to Rome.Brebeuf was cannonized in 1930, by Pope Pius XI.

Gold Encasement

Not many half skulls are covered with so much gold, and are kept by people who claim to honor “god”.

Boiling a dead body in lye to get the flesh and bones to separate, makes me think of how men treat dead animals, when they make soup or dinner.

And why re-bury the boiled flesh, without its bones?

Are there some special powers in a dead man bones, that boiled flesh do not contain?

The greater mystery is why the Pope is praying over half of the skull.

This is what another website has recorded:

Actually, it only the left half of his skull that inhabits Martyrs’ Shrine.

Was this decided because that part of the skull encased the left brain that enabled Brebeuf to learn several Native American languages?

Not that fluency in their tongue stopped the Iroquois from hanging red-hot tomahawks around his neck.

And where is his right skull?

Source: Blogger

“Yes, the bones were entrusted to the Ursuline Order of nuns in Québec for safekeeping, but once Brébuf was proclaimed a saint, the Jesuits asked for them back. The Ursulines were not amused as they thought that they had done a good job and wanted to keep half, so at Martyrs’ Shrine there’s only one-half of Brébuf’s skull (left side) while the nuns kept the other portion.”

Source: Tourist site.

What makes people cut a skull in two?

Was it the native Indians who cut the skull in two, or more likely was it the local Jesuit’s?

Will both parts of the skull remain “holy”, or will only a united skull have the magic powers of restoration and healing?  Will half a skull only heal half of the person?

A “skull chapel” in the heart of the Italian capital Rome.

The Capuchin Crypt is a small space comprising several tiny chapels located beneath the church of Santa Maria della Concezione dei Cappuccini on the Via Veneto near Piazza Barberini in Rome, Italy.

Wikipedia:

The Capuchin Crypt contains the skeletal remains of 4,000 bodies believed to be Capuchin friars buried by their order. The Catholic order insists that the display is not meant to be macabre, but a silent reminder of the swift passage of life on Earth.

Described by Frommer’s as:
“one of the most horrifying images in all of Christendom” ,large numbers of the bones are nailed to the walls in intricate patterns. Many are piled high among countless others, while others hang from the ceiling as light fixtures.

When the monks arrived at the church in 1631, they brought 300 cartloads of deceased friars. Fr. Michael of Bergamo oversaw the arrangement of the bones in the burial crypt. The soil in the crypt was brought from Jerusalem, by order of Pope Urban VIII.

Catholic Saint with Two Skulls gets blue eyes, dental treatment 1300 years after death

Saint Mundita lost her flesh when she was removed from her grave. But she got fresh Jewels in her eye socket, and glitter all over her skeleton.

St Mundita

This Catholic saint that is displayed for adoration and veneration in St. Peter’s Church in Munich, is one of its kind.

The Vatican is not sure exactly when she died. The best guess is around 300 A.D. But her remains were kept in the catacombs of Cyriaca.

What we know is that her remains were shifted from Rome to Munich in Germany in 1675 A.D. And 1300 years after she died, she got Jewels as eyes, and even “dental treatment”.

From Wikipedia;

Saint Munditia  is venerated as a Christian martyr. Her relics are found in a side altar at St. Peter’s Church (known as “Old Peter,” Alter Peter) in Munich. They consist of a gilt-covered and gem-studded skeleton, located in a glass case, with false eyes in her skull, which is wrapped in netting. Jewels cover the mouth of the relic’s rotten teeth.

Her relics were translated to Munich from Rome in 1675 from the catacombsof Cyriaca. They were transferred to her Baroque Erashrine was built on September 5, 1677.

In 1804, her relics were concealed behind a wooden shrine, but this was removed in 1883, restoring interest in her cult. Her feast day is now celebrated annually with a High Mass and a procession with candle.

Lets take a look at the Saint with  two skulls. One on the skeleton, and one in the box on top of the coffin.

Drama around skull and bones of Thomas Aquinas

The monks exhumed the “saint” because they feared the body could be stolen. His head was cut off, and kept separately.

head-encasementThe skull of Thomas Aquinas is kept for adoration in a Church just outside Rome.

The story of the beautification of Thomas Aquinas is like a greek drama, a real spiritual tragedy.

Some French monks were desperate to secure the bones of the Catholic theologian, and felt his grave was unsafe.

This is what Ralph McInerny has recored in Christian History magazine no. 73

Shortly after Thomas Aquinas died, on March 7, 1274, miracles began to occur near his body. The monks of the Cistercian abbey at Fossanova, where Thomas was buried, feared that the remains might be stolen and taken off to a Dominican resting place.

Jealous of their treasure, the Cistercians took macabre precautions. They “exhumed the corpse of Brother Thomas from its resting place, cut off the head and placed it in a hiding place in a corner of the chapel.” That way, if the corpse were taken, the head would still be theirs. His sister was given a hand, a finger of which was to take a grisly trajectory of its own.  The reverent mutilations continued.

By the time the canonization process began in 1319, the corpse had been reduced to bones, from which the flesh had been boiled away. In 1396 the bones were moved to the Dominican monastery at Toulouse. The remains were relocated to the church of St. Sernin during the French Revolution, then returned to the monastery in 1974. They rest there today.

Lets look at two more pictures:

head and relics

The skull of Aquinas is only one of many “Holy items” in this Abbey.

Who gets scared that a dead mans bones would be robbed from the grave?

The Dominican monks exhumed the dead Italian teacher, and cut the head off the corpse.  Next, they kept the head away from the rest of the remains, to avoid being robbed of it all.

If someone robbed the bones, the monks would at least have the head.  It was then boiled to become a clean venerable skull.

They also boiling the corpse torso, arms and legs to separate the bones from the dead mans flesh.

The skull ended up as a “Holy relic” in the Fossonova Abbey outside Rome.

The bones has been kept in the Dominican monastery at Toulouse in France. Lets take a look at the pictures from France:

bones under altar

The bones of Thomas Aquinas is normally kept under the altar in the Monastry in Tolouse.

While the skull of Thomas Aquinas is kept above the altar in Italy, the bones rest under the altar in France. But only the bones are paraded on the annual feast day.

To rob a grave is bad enough. To cut the head of a corpse, and keep it safe from thiefs is ... I don't know what you call it.

Who were these monks afraid of?

Could the potential robbers, be others than competing demonized Catholic priests?

Who else is able to fight over “holy skulls and bones”?

His bones have also been widely distributed. Thousands might have a piece of His bones, sold as first class relics by the bone sellers in the Vatican.

The tragic end of King Saul is the display of his cut of head, or skull, in the pagan Temple of Dagon.

Roman Catholics consider exhumed bodies to be “holy”.  Corpses of various kind has been removed from the grave, their head cut off, and the cleansed skulls put up for veneration and adoration.

Just like in the pagan temple of Dagon.

 1 Chronicles 10:8-11

The next day, when the Philistines came to strip the dead, they found Saul and his sons fallen on Mount Gilboa.  They stripped him and took his head and his armor, and sent messengers throughout the land of the Philistines to proclaim the news among their idols and their people.

They put his armor in the temple of their gods and hung up his head in the temple of Dagon.

When all the inhabitants of Jabesh Gilead heard of everything the Philistines had done to Saul, all their valiant men went and took the bodies of Saul and his sons and brought them to Jabesh. Then they buried their bones under the great tree in Jabesh, and they fasted seven days.

Who is Oliver Plunkett?

He was the Roman Catholic Archbishop of Armagh in Ireland, and the primate of all Ireland. He lived from 1st of November 1625, to 1st of July 1681. Plunkett was beatified in 1920 and canonised in 1975, the first new Irish saint for almost seven hundred years.

From the official Catholic website:

Oliver Plunkett was beatified in 1920 and canonized in 1975. In 1979, Pope John Paul II venerated the relic of St Oliver Plunkett during the Drogheda part of his Papal visit to Ireland.

The Feast of St Oliver Plunkett occurs annually on the anniversary of his death, 1st July. Special celebrations are held each year on this date in Drogheda. A procession of the Saint’s relic is made from Our Lady of Lourdes Church, Hardman’s Gardens to the Church of St Peter, West Street. A 600 year old corpse, with a disfigured face, dressed up like a nun.

That Spanish people kneel down and pray in front of this Madonna.

Take a look of the worshipers of this corpse on this video:

Dona Maria Coronel is locally known for lifting the sieges of her convent enforced by the king, by throwing boiling oil on her face to disfigure it. This does not seem to be a proper act of Holiness, as required in the Bible.

The gospel demands that we take good care of our bodies, which is the very Temple of the Holy spirit. We are not instructed to disfigure our selves.

‘I am the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob’ ? He is not the God of the dead but of the living.”

Roman Catholic nuns fought and got half of saints boiled skull

The skull of Saint Brébeuf can be adored in Martyr’s Shrine near Midland, Ontario, in Canada. But only half of it.

Roman Catholics can adore half of a skull in Canada. The other half was given to nuns, and disappeared.

Wikipedia:

Brébeuf did not make a single outcry while he was being tortured and he astounded the Iroquois, who later cut out his heart and ate it in hopes of gaining his courage Brébeuf was fifty-five years old.

Brébeuf’s body was recovered a few days later. His body was boiled in lye to remove the flesh, and the bones became church relics.

Accordingly, their bodies were exhumed and boiled in a lye solution. Their flesh was reburied and their bones wrapped in linen and saved as relics.

Read more at Suite101:

An ecclesiastical court sat in 1904 for an entire year to examine his life and virtues and the cause of his death, and the result of the inquiry was forwarded to Rome. Brebeuf was canonized in 1930, by Pope Pius XI.

Not many half skulls are covered with so much gold

Actually, it only the left half of his skull that inhabits Martyrs’ Shrine.

Was this decided because that part of the skull encased the left brain that enabled Brebeuf to learn several Native American languages?

Not that fluency in their tongue stopped the Iroquois from hanging red-hot tomahawks around his neck.

And where is his right skull?

What happened to the other half’s of the skull?

“Yes, the bones were entrusted to the Ursuline Order of nuns in Québec for safekeeping, but once Brébuf was proclaimed a saint, the Jesuits asked for them back. The Ursulines were not amused as they thought that they had done a good job and wanted to keep half, so at Martyrs’ Shrine there’s only one-half of Brébuf’s skull (left side) while the nuns kept the other portion.”

What makes people cut a skull in two?

How to you do that in the first place, without damaging the “holy” relic?

Was it the native Indians who cut the skull in two, or was it the local Jesuit’s?
